Uncle Teow Is Now Rocking HOT on SportPlus.sg

In the years before 2022, Uncle Teow is a nobody. He minds his own business and went about his daily life while staying focused on his interest – jogging (other than badminton). And that was what he did amidst the pandemic – he ran in deserted trails in Singapore before dawn and after dusk to avoid the crowd and, yet, staying true to himself. He never know what he is going to get – Famous!

He prowled the trails of Mandai T15, Chestnut Nature Park, MacRitchie Reservoir, Pipeline Trail, Rail Corridor and Bukit Timah Nature Reserve every weekends. Doing at least 35km on each of them. He and his Uncles at work formed the group RunUncleRun to participate in the HPB Corporate Step Challenge in which the team attained the number one spot twice in the row. Together, the Uncles went on to complete (twice) 150km Round Island Walk that went into the Singapore Book of Records for the Longest Event Walking Around Singapore 2020.

For those who came to know him recently, he is not just an Engineer at Dell Technologies (Singapore). He is one of the brilliant minds working under the hood to design and deliver the infamous Alienware Gaming Monitors to gamers and eSports enthusiast.

We, the Uncles (Uncle Dave, Uncle Yap, Uncle Xiong and Uncle Lee), and the supporters are proud of Uncle Teow’s achievements.

And if you are still procrastinating about whether to keep your promise to exercise and stay healthy this year. Don’t! Just wear your running shoes and go. You are never know what you are going to get.
